I had Leah and Monica on subsequent days. I suspect my wife would have had Chad and Biff if she'd been the one exploring.

Anyway, the Bot isn't obviously AI until you ask a question that requires a specific answer.

In my case, when I offered three specific appointment times, it responded with the dealership's hours. That's when I knew I wasn't dealing with a person.

However, the next step is where the dealerships get it wrong in my estimation.

It’s because the Bot’s routine didn’t include a fundamental question: “Do you already have a salesperson you deal with at our dealership?”

Look, anyone who’s worked in sales of any kind knows that the end of the day, there’s a difference between a “customer” and a “client”.

A customer is a transactional type of buyer. Usually a one-off. No prior history, likely no future history.

A client is someone who DOES have a history with the dealership. They’ll approach their contact at the dealership first if they have questions.

However, the way dealerships have implemented AI, it doesn’t reward the dealership-client relationship. It prioritizes the transactional customer interaction.

What the AI does is hand off the question to an order-taking salesperson, usually new, who’s always on their phone and will react in a Pavlovian way to a notification on their phone.

“Someone wants to buy a car!”

“Someone wants to buy a car!”

“Someone wants to buy a car!”

Leading to a text – not even a phone call – from said salesperson about the car you inquired about.

Last week, when this happened to me, I was under the impression that my existing connection at the dealership wasn’t working on the Used Car side of the dealership.

When I got to the dealership, I was met by the salesperson who responded to the lead, AND my existing connection. My existing contact was super professional as always, and simply asked why we hadn’t called. He then explained why HE didn’t get our message, which is that the AI simply broadcasts a notification within the dealership system, and whichever over-eager phone-dweller responds first gets the lead.

Had I not been lazy or rushed in my search, I might have thought to reach out to him first to check if, in fact, he was working with both used and new cars.

There were a few consequences to my using the AI.

First, and most importantly, the dealership’s implementation of AI turned me into just another customer, rather than acknowledging my over 20-year association with this particular salesperson. That contributed to small, but mendable damage to my relationship with “our guy.”

If the Bot had asked the question above, I feel loyalty will increase. The recognition that the dealership values my business as a client by even asking the question changes the tone of the entire interaction.

The other consequence is that the speed of the notification and response from the other salesperson, although pretty quick, was such that we missed out on the car.

Those few minutes I could have reached out directly would have likely changed the outcome completely.

The new salesperson was professional, so this isn’t meant to disparage their skills.

My personal opinion is that by not prioritizing the CLIENT relationship, the industry reinforces the perceived Herb Tarlek "sale-no-matter-what,” and lacks the personal connection that can make car buying such an unpleasant experience.

If your business needs repeat business and wants to foster client relationships, rather than just customer relationships, then think about this when implementing automated sales solutions like chatbots. They can be genuinely terrific, but a small tweak can turn an experience from “endurable” to genuinely engaging and a win for both sides.

Average humidity indoors is often less than 50%. Outdoor is often 60% or lower – and that’s after a month of twice the average rainfall!

I noticed yesterday that my voice was cracking or a bit more “textured/gravelly” than usual as I was recording. First thing I thought of was “Right! I have to drink water – not JUST coffee.” 🙃

So keep a few things in mind every day in hot or cold dry environments.

Hydration Is Essential

Drink plenty of **room-temperature water** throughout the day. Avoid cold beverages and opt for warm drinks like non-caffeinated herbal teas with honey for extra soothing benefits.

Incorporate hydrating foods (like cucumbers or watermelon) into your diet. In extreme dry climates, hydration should be a full-day focus.

Use a humidifier.

Warm Up and Cool Down Your Voice

Perform **vocal warm-ups**—like gentle humming, lip trills, and “sirens”—before any recording.

In cold settings, increase the duration/intensity of warm-ups since muscles and vocal folds take longer to adjust.

After long sessions/presentations, give your voice a “vocal nap” for a while. Think 30 minutes to an hour.

Optimize Your Environment

Clean radiators, air filters, and studio equipment regularly to avoid dust.

Add water bowls or humidifiers to workspaces to supplement air moisture. This actually works!

Lifestyle and Recovery

Get plenty of sleep—fatigue leads to poor breath support and vocal strain.

Avoid smoking, duh.

Don’t whisper or shout: Both can cause significant strain or damage to your vocal folds. Though sometimes, when you’re THAT person in a video game or animated production…you’ve gotta do it. That’s when the idea of a vocal nap becomes super important for recovery.

That’s a capsule version of great advice received over the years that you can apply. Happy gabbing!

You might remember the bit about accepting the things you cannot change, the courage to change the things you can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

It’s expressed in a different context by author Trevor Moawad, founder of the company Limitless Minds and author of It Takes What It Takes and Getting to Neutral. Trevor’s work was introduced to me by Vince Fowler, a mentor and coach in his own business and life, and a good human to know.

Among the many nuggets of wisdom that lead to “you control what you do next” was how powerful negativity can be relative to positivity. That positivity in and of itself may not work for you, but neutral thinking might. Also, don’t say stupid ***t out loud. Makes me chuckle even now thinking about the way Trevor says it in the audiobook.

In any case, the “what you do next” part can be tough to figure out when you’re working on controlling your emotions and the ambient conversation/noise around you is negative.

So, I have a life-tested suggestion to help. At least in the short term.

Do good and don’t tell anyone about it.

No social media, no talking about it. Strictly for the good of it.

The ripple effect within you and outside of you may be small, but no less valuable for that.

Like what?

How about leaving an unsigned note with a tip for a server explaining what about their service made your experience better?

If you’re getting a coffee for yourself, why not pick up a $5 gift card and leave it anonymously on a coworker’s desk who’s having a tough day?

If you spot a homeless person outside a grocery store, grab a deli sandwich and bring it out to them before you shop your list.

When all else fails…give good hug.

Don’t forget about yourself in all this. Get outside and feed your soul with some fresh air and sunshine.

You control what you do next. Sometimes, the Right Voice needs to be used with the right communication method. 😁

My horoscope for the day yesterday - which I superstitiously consult for fun each day - had this to say: "You can, if you wish, try to act as a peacemaker in a dispute of some kind but the planets warn you probably won’t be successful. Sometimes, the best course of action is to stand back and let others get on with their petty vendettas."

Here’s where I’m going with this.

I’m a co-captain in our community cycling club, One Aim. Our club’s mission is to help riders from our team and any team train up for the annual Enbridge Tour of Alberta for Cancer, in which riders roll for 200 km over two days. Part of that involves training rides in some beautiful locations in Southern Alberta, one of which is in and around Priddis.

Cyclists have been casually parking for free in the Priddis Community Hall parking lot for many years as a starting point for training rides that are typically 40 - 100 km.

This leads to conflicts because cyclists will take up a parking space for 2 to 6 hours, depending on the length of the ride, which lessens parking availability for folks using the Hall. Cyclists also show up in significant enough numbers to affect the, ahem, human waste costs for the PortaPotties, which the Priddis Community Association and the hamlet of Priddis pay. They cause the non-profit community association to pay to empty the facilities weekly rather than bi-weekly or monthly when outside of cycling season.

The community association has tried all sorts of measures to educate cyclists about the negative impacts they occasionally have on the community. They’ve tried signage and volunteers informing visitors that the lot is being used by folks who have paid to rent the facility and, by extension, the parking, etc. Another measure they took was to post a sign that said community association membership holders were the only ones who could use the parking lot. However, many cyclists ignore the community association and community’s requests.

Our club recognizes the value of the “free” parking and has purchased memberships with the understanding that if there’s an event at the hall, we’ll find other parking. We also proposed car-pooling to help minimize the number of individual vehicles.

This conversation has been ongoing in Priddis and throughout Foothills Country for well over 14 years . The problems have become particularly acute since the pandemic, with more and more people discovering cycling.

Last night, these issues were brought forward at a meeting in Priddis at their Community Hall.

The meeting was well attended, including community members, the RCMP (😳), and Foothills County officials. As the only captain of our club available, and despite the horoscope, I went to the meeting to hear the community members' thoughts and perhaps speak on behalf of our club and cyclists.

Our club, One Aim is one of many that ride in the area to help train. There were at least two other Cancer Ride clubs represented there, representing two of the best fundraisers for the cause, and along with our club, contributing a lot of cycling experience to the discussion.

Several long-time residents who spoke were also cyclists.

The meeting was surprisingly positive and very informative. Long-time residents expressed legitimate concerns, mostly about safety but also about the costs imposed on their businesses and the community.

One local Diner owner mentioned something that most cyclists would never have thought of: that when so many cyclists fill the Community Hall lot, local users of the Community Hall are forced to park in the lot usually reserved for their customers across the street and also along the street in a line of vehicles as long as a quarter kilometer down the road. As a result, many coming for brunch assume by the number of cars that the place is packed and move on to another choice. She mentioned having brunch prepared by her staff and being ready to go in anticipation of a big crowd, and on more than one occasion, literally watched them drive by."

Some of the safety stories that emerged for motorists and cyclists were harrowing.

The police spoke of only two riders injured last season in the area, but many expressed their relief that it was only that many. Farmers who haul wide equipment repeatedly spoke of how dangerous their job became when they crested a hill in the area and came upon a group of cyclists riding 4 and 5 across. That’s an unacceptable safety breach by cyclists who don’t realize the danger they put the farmer and his equipment in, as well as themselves. There’s a reason there are signs saying riders must ride single file on those roads.

In any case, the evening ended with the feeling that the majority of participants who were community members definitely recognized the opportunity presented by tourists and cycling tourists and wanted to keep the community “open.” The next steps include exploring several options presented by a Foothills County councillor and hopefully having a plan in place for the 2025 cycling season.

A lot of people think texts, emails, and even video calls are the best way to resolve some issues.

In a multistakeholder situation, at a certain point, nothing can replace the value of a face-to-face interaction where mediated conversation leads to well-thought-out options that benefit the greatest number of people.

Remove the human interaction, and once again the AI voice can sound mechanical in short order.

To my eye, that single aspect continues to point the way forward for creatives of all stripes, although my context today is voice acting: “without human interaction…”

The way forward is a narrow bridge to a future where humans make themselves an indispensable enhancement to pure AI.

So, as always in a sustainable business for small vendors like individual voice actors, the challenge is to have a “value” conversation, as opposed to a “price” conversation.

For creatives of all stripes, how do you express the value you bring as the enhancement to AI being used? How does your contribution make the result exceptional, rather than momentarily startling?

How can you quantify that value? What makes your value a compelling business proposition? What does it bring to the table that the tech by itself cannot? How do you pitch it?

All this evolution has me thinking about these questions. I don’t have any definitive answers. I will be testing my thoughts in real-world situations with clients and continue to have conversations with them to learn more. I encourage other creatives to do the same.

My feelings are also informed by an interesting exchange with one of my eLearning clients last week.

He confirmed what we’ve been feeling and seeing in the industry. A lot of low value, low-stakes eLearning is being automated by AI voices. That’s not to mean that all of this learning, processed (it’s not being narrated, only humans do that) is of low-quality.

It used to be painfully obvious when this sort of learning landed. It was awful to listen to, and “off” in a way that became obvious after listening for short lengths of time.

As the technology gallops through its evolution, that’s changed.

This particular client said “out loud” what a lot of people on the voice acting side of the industry are fearing: that many clients are clamouring for “automation” rather than human choices on the narration side.

That’s due to a large number of factors, and although cost and profitability are high on the list, there are others. Speed. Simplicity. Consistency. All things in which the tech can easily notch wins against humans.

It’s also due to clients wanting to be perceived as being on the bleeding edge, so they will “overuse” the new toy, and there will be an inevitable “correction” as the technology finds its place.

The client also mentioned a new term – which led me further down this path to thinking that there’s a high-value role for humans in this specific field – “meta humans.”

For a meta human to exist, there must be a human base. At “this point” in the technology’s development, like many other AI attempts at “purely synthetic” creation, if something is purely based on a synthetic base, the quality of the creation degrades very quickly to a human eye or ear - from a human perspective.

In short, humans are essential to the equation. It’s up to us humans to make our case convincingly to the other humans.

No matter what you choose to do (and remember, if it's serious or has lasted longer than 3 or 4 days with no change or a worsening of symptoms, see a doctor), keep it as natural and simple as possible.

Natural Ingredients: Look for herbal teas like throat formula tea, or have regular warm to hot water with lemon and honey. Remember lemon strips the vocal cords (and is also a diuretic) while honey coats and heals. So honey is often best AFTER you've performed. As for cough drops, look for some made with natural ingredients like honey, lemon, eucalyptus, and menthol. These ingredients can help soothe your throat and alleviate irritation.

No Artificial Additives: Avoid drinks or cough drops that contain artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. These may irritate the throat or cause other adverse reactions.

Non-Medicated Options: Some singers and voice actors prefer non-medicated liquids or cough drops that soothe the throat without using active ingredients like menthol or benzocaine, which can sometimes have numbing effects.

Menthol: If you prefer menthol for its soothing properties, look for liquids or cough drops with moderate menthol. Too much menthol can be overpowering and may affect vocal clarity.

Sugar-Free Options: For those concerned about the impact of sugar on their vocal health, sugar-free liquids or cough drops may be a better choice. However, be cautious of artificial sweeteners that may cause gastrointestinal discomfort.

Personal Preference: Ultimately, the best medicine for singers and voice actors may vary depending on personal preference and individual sensitivity.

Traditional Medicinals makes a terrific Throat Coat tea (but the "coat" is right in the name, so performance results will vary).

Yogi also makes soothing tea for the throat.

Ricola, Halls, Fisherman's Friend, and Luden's are some popular brands that offer cough drops suitable for singers and voice actors.

One of the reasons I genuinely enjoy almost everything I read from clients in my voice acting career is that I love to read. I love to learn.

One of the cherries on my life cake is this: I’ve been part of a men’s book club called Liquor and Letters for over twenty years. On the first Tuesday of every month, the guys get together—all seven of us, when we’re lucky—and enjoy a craft beer or two with pizza. Then, we share a new bottle of whisky while we talk about the book, the various things in our lives that the book brings up, and whatever conversational road presents itself.

When we met earlier in April, we figured that we’d enjoyed over 250 books and the same number of whiskies together.

Today, I thought I’d share some of that literary bounty.

First, let me say this I don’t think you could come up with such a strangely, organically complimentary group of guys from a book standpoint if you tried.

Every one of these guys has a diverse range of interests, and yes, there are “types”, but even when we run against type, there have been such terrific surprises that we *never* would have sought out on our own – and that’s the point isn’t it? To metaphorically go down every road less travelled that we wouldn’t choose ourselves?

I loved every one of these books for different reasons. Sometimes it was just the writing. Sentences so beautiful you want to frame and preserve them. Amor Towles, Niall Williams and Ray Bradbury are three of the authors in this short list that did that for me.

This is Happiness - Niall Williams

In Niall Williams’s This Is Happiness, the ¾ of a page revelation of the title phrase’s meaning was so powerfully arrived at and told that I cried. I left that book for my librarian mom. You know you love a book when you can’t wait to share it and hope that person loves it as much as you do.

Dandelion Wine - Ray Bradbury

Dandelion Wine is a Bradbury classic that perfectly crystallizes “boy”, “boyhood,” and nostalgia. I can’t recommend it highly enough. Its sequel, Something Wicked This Way Comes, is rated one of the best books of the 20th century, but it would be a toss-up which of those two I’d rank higher.

A Gentleman in Moscow - Amor Towles

A Gentleman in Moscow is a beautifully told story of a man you’ll wish you knew. And so eloquently laid out that your world is left just a bit more beautiful by the telling.

Caddyshack: The Making of... - Chris Nashawaty

Sometimes it’s the absurdity of something so messed up, you can’t believe anything good came out of it. That’d be the Caddyshack story.

A History of Canada in Ten Maps - Adam Shoalts

History told like it *should* be, with life-or-death stakes, villains, antiheroes, and every shade of person in between. And that’s Canadian history as told by Adam Shoalts in A History of Canada In Ten Maps. Among other nuggets in that one is the cartographer who mapped the Pacific Northwest before Lewis and Clark and who *almost* succeeded in Canada having a border south of the 49th!

The Wager - David Grann

History again, this time in The Wager. It’s the incredible true story of a British shipwreck in the 1700’s that had amazing adventure, the utter futility of war, incredible courage, close calls, tragedy, cannibalism, and the origin of the British Navy that would go on to be the backbone of the world’s biggest ever empire, the British empire. And there’s more! I mean you can’t believe what happens page after page!

American Dirt - Jeanine Cummins

American Dirt is a book that makes a mockery of the pampered, orange-tinged life of a certain racist US politician, and tells the harrowing story of true courage facing life and death daily to make it to America from deep inside Mexico.

The Anomaly - Hervé Le Tellier

The Anomaly (not the same story as the mediocre TV show) makes you really wonder about free will. It’s a brilliant blend of crime, fantasy, sci-fi and thriller. I never summarize this one well, so I’ll borrow phrases from the publisher: “In June 2021, a senseless event upends the lives of hundreds of men and women, all passengers on a flight from Paris to New York. Among them: Blake, a respectable family man, though he works as a contract killer; Slimboy, a Nigerian pop star tired of living a lie; Joanna, a formidable lawyer whose flaws have caught up with her; and Victor Miesel, a critically acclaimed yet commercially unsuccessful writer who suddenly becomes a cult hit.

All of them believed they had double lives. None imagined just how true that was.”

There are so many more, but I quickly cherry-picked from the most recent couple of pages of our book database (of course, we have a book database. Ditto one for the whiskies!).

I hope one of these books piques your interest. If it does, and you enjoy it, then Pay It Forward.

Thank you for reading. As you can tell, it’s a passion and pleasure of mine to share books and stories. 😃

While driving, I finished listening to this season's Against The Rules podcast, written and hosted by author Michael Lewis. In this season, tackling topics relating to the "unfairness of American life," he addressed the devaluation of expertise and the real experts in our world.

In example after example, he illustrated how the "talking heads" at the top are often NOT the experts and how they can sometimes be dangerous in their interpretation or misinterpretation of facts by experts.

I encourage you to take it in. Six short episodes will likely reshape your opinion of where you find the experts around you. Find it here (on Apple Podcasts) or wherever you stream your podcasts from.

It made me contemplate again how vital subject matter experts, often called SMEs, are to the voice actors (talking heads) who end up being the proxies of an SME's credentialed and lived experiences.

Experience is akin to the seasoned traveler navigating various landscapes, and honing their skills. On the other hand, credentials are the maps and guidebooks representing formal education and certifications. Their true potency is unlocked when they converge.

However, I propose that experience holds a slightly superior position. The lived encounters, the hands-on learning, and the ability to adapt in real time often set experts apart.

Imagine a voice actor asked to bring eLearning or other content to life. On paper, they might possess impressive credentials - a degree in theater, voice training, and a track record of successful projects. While these credentials are invaluable, it's the wealth of experience that will genuinely elevate their performance. Experience allows them to navigate the nuances of various scripts. Experience empowers them to handle unexpected challenges, like a complex concept that demands a unique delivery.

This blend of experience and credentials translates into something tangible. Confidence is an assurance to the learners that they are in capable hands. When expert voice actors deliver eLearning content, their confidence is infectious and creates an environment where learners feel assured that the material is being presented by someone who truly understands and embodies it.

Think of expertise as a torch that lights the path for others. Learners often grapple with isolation and a lack of direct interaction, especially in the eLearning landscape. Yet, a bridge forms when they hear a narrator who exudes confidence and expertise. The voice actor becomes a guide, a mentor through the digital maze. Learners absorb the content and take in the assurance that the expert narrator projects.

This transfer of confidence is where the impact of expertise truly shines. As learners engage with the eLearning content, they absorb the expert's approach to the subject matter, their method of articulation, and their subtle cues of understanding. This isn't just about the material; it's about nurturing a learning experience that leaves a lasting imprint.

Expertise is a synergy between experience and credentials, with experience holding a slightly elevated role. The confidence that stems from a well-rounded expert, in this case, the voice actor, resonates deeply. This confidence becomes a conduit for learners, imparting knowledge and a sense of assurance and mastery.

To hear what your content might sound like delivered by an expert narrator, reach out any time!

But have you ever wondered what a day in the life of your voice actor looks like?

Here’s a quick look at the daily routine of a professional voice actor, and how their productivity, service, communication, and speed of response can impact your eLearning projects.

First things first, as a busy, working voice actor, I’ve always fancied myself a “time architect” and every day is a client-centric. Each day needs to be realistic and workable so that expectations are exceeded if possible, but at the very least, met.

I typically start my day by checking emails and ye old calendar, likely over breakfast (but after solving Wordle!). I’ll respond promptly to any new requests or messages. Communication is key, so a good voice actor will prioritize prompt and clear communication with their clients to ensure that everything runs smoothly.

A voice actor will typically warm up their voice with exercises and vocal drills. I end up sorta singing my responses to client emails and messages before hitting “Send”. It ends being a reminder I’ve picked the right career talking, haha, and it has always felt efficient and helped to set the tone of any messages.

Next, out go the pyjamas, on go the “work clothes” and real shoes, and the recording begins! A voice actor’s home studio set up will be optimized to deliver high-quality (often referred to as broadcast-quality/ready) recordings that meet the client's expectations.

As the day goes on, a voice actor will take breaks as needed to rest their voice and recharge. For example, I find that if I noticed myself “checking out” for even a sentence, the first thing I’ll do is retake that sentence, then take 5 to ”reset”. If working on multiple projects as I do each day, I’ll use this time to review and edit recordings, ensuring they’re of the highest quality and ready for the client's QA/review process. It’s all about attention to detail.

Communication never stops! Throughout the day, your voice actor will respond promptly to any client requests or questions. They may also provide feedback and suggestions for the script or delivery. It’s a collaboration. Email is best for a track record, but I also have 5 messaging platforms open to chat and collaborate with clients and prospective clients.

There’s an old message from Shari Lewis (Lamb Chop on Ed Sullivan WAY back) that became a command early in my business/voice career: "The next day begins with preparing the night before". At the end of the day, I plan for the next day's work.

So, as much fun as we have pretty much all day, every day, there’s an unrelenting focus on productivity, service, communication, and speed of response. As an eLearning instructional designer, it's important to choose a voice actor who can meet these standards and deliver the best possible training materials for your learners.

Instead, imagine taking off and leaving it all behind to follow a passion. Not forever, but a meaningful enough amount of time to rediscover yourself, leave “digital” and almost everything it conjures in your imagination behind, and frankly just to stop. Love a bit more deeply – people, the world and all the beauty in it. And maybe, find a way to live in the present moment, unshackling yourself from your past – or perhaps more accurately, put it in its place: the past.

Over the past several years, and especially during the pandemic, I began to appreciate my visceral need to be connected to the physical environment I’m in, and like-minded people to do it with.

Fortunately, I live an hour away from the Rocky Mountains and Banff National Park, not to mention the even closer provincial area called Kananaskis (where Leonardo DiCaprio starred in The Revenant, where Inception filmed that fabulous Snow Fortress sequence, etc.).

As a result, in 2017, I refocused my energy into some favourite physical pursuits, road cycling and hiking. In doing that, the most incredible people dropped into my life.

After numerous hikes, I also rediscovered a nearly 20-year-old desire to trek the Camino de Santiago, originally inspired by a friend who’d read Paulo Coelho’s The Pilgrimage, and then done the trek. Last year, I was re-inspired after another friend’s trek on the Camino. That was a gift to my imagination that I would have been a fool to turn away.

This time, I acted to make it happen.

I didn’t succumb to the trap a lot of self-employed people fall into, which is NOT doing something based on fear.

Fear of being away for three weeks. Fear of not generating revenue for that time. Whatever.

Instead, I thought, HOW MANY TIMES have I allowed that sort of reasoning to turn me away from something that I genuinely want to do before I die (call it a bucket list item if you prefer)? Isn’t that at least ONE of the reasons I’m self-employed? Other than likely being unemployable now after 24 years of being my own boss. LOL.

So, for the next few weeks I’ll undertake the first section of the Camino Francés route stretching from St jean Pied de Port in France, to Burgos in Northern Spain. As a bonus, I’ll be sharing the adventure with my 18-year-old son. One of the interesting things about being a dad a second time is how aware I’ve become of how much richer bonds can be when the kids know you as more than just a parent – and I, in turn know them as more than “just” the kids.

This isn’t the sort of adventure our family could have supported during my childhood/adolescence (means, scope to travel, blah, blah). I would have LOVED to do something like this with my dad. He’s been gone since 1993 (way too young), but I like to visualize him wearing a “NO FEAR” T-shirt and applauding as we set out.

I look forward to returning refreshed, and likely humbled a bit, to tell new stories.

For now, though, I’ll say goodbye to my padded room, my microphone, and the familiarity of “the usual” for three weeks. I’m grateful for every step so far, and every one to come.

May YOU check a passion item on your bucket list this year. No fear. Eyes, arms, and heart wide open. It’ll do you good!
