Delivery of the Voice Over
From Here...To There...
One
of the challenges of working in the voice over industry outside North America's
top 5 markets, is not being present physically, whether for the voiceover audition, or the gig itself.
Although we can patch you in on our phone interface for crystal clear conventional "phone patches", we can also go one better.
ISDN and Internet technologies help erase geography, figuratively speaking. Let us show you how easy it can be for people in different cities, countries, on different continents even, to collaborate in voiceover and video production in real time.
ISDN
Simply put, this technology puts Paul on the other side of the glass for the voiceover in every way but physically. You record the voiceover or narration performance in your studio, in your city in real time in clean, clear digital quality, even though Paul's...well, that's the point, it doesn't really matter where Paul is.
Our ISDN unit is a Prima LT Plus, compatible with your Telos Zephyr or XStream, Musicam, Prima, Musictaxi, or other MPEG codec. Paul also owns the APT Worldnet Tokyo in his second studio suite (pictured) and that unit is both MPEG compatible and works with older APT codecs, Enhanced APT-X capable codecs, and even AAC Codecs.
The newest "here and there" technology is Source Connect. Cleaner and superior to ISDN (with a reliably fast broadband Internet connection), it's available as an option if you have this wonderful Pro Tools plug-in.
You Need It? We "Send It"
Paul uses the professional file transfer service You Send It to send all audio files, large or small.
When we've finished your audio, we send you an e-mail with a link to the file. Simple.
If security is a concern, we can encrypt and password protect that download. At the end of a set interval, the file will self-destruct...just like in Mission Impossible. Well, not really, but the link expires, and access to the file is removed.
If you have reference files to send to Paul for a project (i.e. video to sync for French projects), you can use Paul's "You Send It" Drop Box at http://dropbox.yousendit.com/PaulBoucher.
Good 'Ol Fashioned Pony Express
If all else fails and the voiceover project is HUGE, or your area just doesn't have access to high-speed Internet access, then we can use your courier account, or, on projects over $500 USD, include FedEx shipping as part of our voiceover production service.
